Trail Conditions
We do not have real time updates on trail conditions. The best option is to search for BikeKansas on Yahoo groups and become a member. Local trail conditions are shared by fellow members via this group.
Condiser all our trails closed when wet. If your tires slick up when riding then the trail is too wet to ride.
Consider IMBA Rules of the trail #2: Leave No Trace: Be sensitive to the dirt beneath you. Wet and muddy trails are more vulnerable to damage than dry ones. When the trail is soft, consider other riding options.
If you do come across mud or water do not ride around it. This widens the trail and causes long term damage. Either ride through the middle of the puddle or get off and walk around it.
